A spark of love, an epicurean devotion to great food, and a passion for traveling are what inspired these two kindred spirits to create Aventures Gourmets.

She was finishing her studies in the Netherlands when a handsome soldier caught her eye. He was completing his military service in Germany. Whether it was destiny, divine intervention, or pure luck, they knew their lives would be forever changed during that 4-day walk in Nijmegen in the Netherlands in 1984.

First came love, then marriage, then came babies, and a few years later, off they went to travel the world with their children all grown up. Five months of adventures, delicacies, and experiencing countless countries remain engraved in their memories forever.ABOUT US

Fast forward to 2018, when Mario had the inspiration to pursue his passion for bread and went back to school to learn how to be a baker and can now bake up the best chocolate croissants and pizzas this side of the border!His courage to return to school inspired Sunita to also return on the school benches as she completed her Sommelerie course and can talk about the fine notes of vanilla, coffee, or berries with the very best of them.

Globe-trotters par essence, ils ne sont jamais restés très longtemps sans voyager. C'est en 2019 qu'Aventures Gourmets a vu le jour et, depuis, ils cocréent des expériences et des aventures riches et uniques pour leurs clients !

Aventures Gourmets n'est pas une entreprise de voyage typique. En fait, leur activité fluctue au gré des saisons !

En été, vous les trouverez en train de proposer des expériences locales qui varieront de dégustations de vins dans des vignobles remarquables et particulièrement délicieux, ou ils seront les traiteurs d'un événement d'entreprise en créant des combinaisons si uniques que tous se demanderont comment ils ont pensé à des créations si différentes, mais ô combien délicieuses.

Come Fall, winter, and late Spring, they’re having fun as they organize intimate groups and travel abroad and discover countries by exploring off-the-beaten paths. After all, when was the last time you went hunting with dogs for truffles!? Or got to sleep in a privately owned villa in the town of Panicale in Umbria, Italy. Or had the chance to take a local cooking class with some very memorable personalities who’ll have you believing that you’re actually in epicurean heaven!
